Must have experience, training or working knowledge in: * Process control system software development and testing * Process control system hardware specification, installation and testing. * Instrumentation specification, application, installation and testing 2. Minium 5 to 7 years engineering hands-on programming experience with Emerson DeltaV and Allen-Bradley PLC control systems platforms is required. 3. Working knowledge of digital instrumentation and bus technology is preferred. 4. Must have experience in project engineering and /or plant engineering in a manufacturing environment. 5.Recognized as a technical expert by peers and other personnel within the business unit. 6.Successful track record of managing wide-ranging activities within the business unit. 7.Effectively operate in cross-functional teams for technical and non-technical work. 8.Must have awareness of quality and regulatory requirements. 9.Good communication skills and project technical documentation development. 10.Ability to organize and present technical and project overviews without assistance 11.Demonstrated success in delivering results on several technical challenges. 12.Extensive cross-functional team experience, including technical and non-technical work. Physical Demands 1. Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs 2. This position involves hands-on plant equipment operation and troubleshooting. 3. In general, the position requires a combination of sedentary work and walking around observing conditions in the facility. Working Environment 1. Must be able to work in controlled environments requiring special gowning. Will be required to follow gowning requirements and wear protective clothing over the head, face, hands, feet and body. 2. No make-up, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish or artificial fingernails may be worn in the work environment. 3.Will work in a cold, wet environment and inside working conditions. 4.Must be able to work an alternate shift as required. 5.Must be able to participate to on-call manufacturing support as required. 6.May be required to work in a confined area. 7.Some Clean Room and cool/hot storage conditions. 8.5% travel. | |

| B.S. degree in Chemical/Electrical/Instrumentation/Computer Science Engineering and 9-13 years of experience, M.S. in Chemical/Electrical/Instrumentation/Computer Science Engineering and 5-7 years of experience or Ph.D. in Chemical/Electrical/Instrumentation/Computer Science Engineering and 3-5 years experience. | |
