" Lifeguard

o If hired as a lifeguard, the Elmhurst Park District will provide all training for certification.
o Pending successful completion of course will determine if candidate will actually perform lifeguard duties or be assigned another position.
o Ensure safety of pool patrons using the 10/20 rule.
o Perform any necessary rescues in accordance with ILTP guidelines.
o Enforce pool regulations.
o Attend required in-service meetings.
o Wear corrective eyewear at all times when on duty (if medically necessary).
o $7.50-$9.00/hr. Minimum age: 15 years old (Based on Ellis Certification Requirements)

" Guest Services Staff
o Responsible for all housekeeping duties at the pool.
o Clean and sanitize locker rooms and bathrooms on a frequent basis.
o Hose down pool deck.
o Empty garbage cans at pool.
o Attend required staff meetings.
o Perform frequent deck sweeps, picking up garbage and other debris around the pool.
o Wear official pool uniform: Staff shirt, nametag, and neat shorts or pants.
o CPR/AED and first aid training required and provided.
o $7.50-$9.00/hr.
